Hello one and all!!!!

Thanks for giving this page a look-see. You may wonder, "Why does Evan have this page?"

Because I'm a full time Life Teen missionary is why! I've decided to give the next year of my life to serve the Church in a particular way through Life Teen by living into our call to be missionary disciples and discerning my further call in life. Life Teen has helped to form me into the man I am today, especially over the past two summers. I can't begin to explain my hope for the work the Lord will do this year!

As a missionary, tons of things will be happening! We facilitate retreats, confirmation programs, bible studies, run the best summer camp ever (#bestcampever), help with Steubenville conferences, the list is endless! The conversions are just as endless!

After having witnessed so many hearts be opened and set on fire for the Lord, I am convinced that this year will be a time of great evangelization and furthering the Kingdom of God in our world.

How can you help?

Prayer!!!!!!!!!!! We need prayers every day to persevere in our call for the year. Whether its due to sleepless nights or difficulties in community, some days will be extra hard. Grace is the only thing that can pull us through, and your petitions will flood heaven.

Become my Mission Partner!!!!! We have to raise all of our funds for the year! My goal is 15,000 for the year. Why that much??? Well, we need to keep the lights on, pay for the heat in the winter, and the like. These are typical room and board expenses! The first 6,000 goes to Life Teen to pay certain living expenses. The rest will go to myself and will help to pay for food, student loans, travel expenses, and toiletries (everybody needs some toothpaste and deodarant.)

You can donate here on this online page (it's safe and secure, no worries, and tax deductable, woohoo!), or you can send a check, payable to "Life Teen Missions" with "Evan Jamison" in the memo line to this destination...

Let all the people know! You have friends, so tell them I'm looking for mission partners. Get them on the prayer train! We need all the help we can get. Pass this page along and see if they'd like to donate, once or monthly!

More on Missionary Life...

Form of Life

1.) All missionaries live in community, and I'll be living with all the male missionaries at Covecrest! The ways in which they will push me to grow in holiness will be absolutely incredible.

2.) We will have formation throughout the year on missionary spirituality, discipleship, theology of the body, and Ignatian discernment (especially on an eight day silent retreat)..Pretty much all the good stuff!

3.) PRAYER... Every day will start with an hour before the Blessed Sacrament, praying of the Liturgy of the Hours, spiritual reading, etc. Prayer is the most important thing we do. None of our other ministries would matter or be fruitful if the Lord were not at the center of our days.

Again, not only is the point of the mission year outreach (like typical mission work) but, first and foremost, we are in a "school to learn the way to Sainthood".

We're in this business to help Christ save souls.
