"Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). How blessed are we to join the Lord on this mission as collaborators in his plan. This mandate to go to all and proclaim Christ is for all baptized Christians. However, we each answer that call differently. Many are called to proclaim the gospel right in their workplaces, others in their schools. Some are called to give their lives to the Church as priests and religious in order that all might hear the gospel. It is important that we all discern how the Lord may be calling us as individuals to execute this mandate and it is even more important that we pray for one another and support one another in this call.

My family and I have been answering this call for the past two years as Life Teen missionaries. Our first year in Norteast Georgia and our second year in Haiti. And we feel that the Lord is calling us to Haiti for another year. We would like to invite you to support us in saying yes to God. As Life Teen missionaries, we rely solely on God's providence for our income. It can be difficult to rely on others for a livelihood. However, it is also humbling and we truly believe this is what the Lord is calling us to.

Since we said yes to God and his will for us we have seen lives changed especially this past year in Haiti. Here are some stories to show you just a glimpse of what the Lord has done:

Reginal: Reginal moved to our mission base in September 2012. He was born and has lived in Haiti his whole life. Reginal was living with his girlfriend whom he had 2 children with, for 16 years. When we talked to him about marriage he didn't see the point. After being invited to live with us in Haiti and remove himself from the sinful situation he was living in, God begin to work on Reginal's heart. He shared with Anna and I that he wanted to not only marry his girlfriend but to receive his first communion, as well. Anna and I were blessed to be part of Reginal and Mirey’s catechesis and marriage preparation. In January 2013, Reginal received his first communion, his youngest daughter was baptized and he was married into the Church. Anna and I were asked by Reginal and Mirey to be the best man and maid of honor and with joyful hearts we said yes.

Mikael: At the age of 23, Mikael was a well-known voodoo priest in our area. He took part in all sorts of evil activities such as, witchcraft, worship of false gods and even human sacrifices. Mikael worshiped and was consecrated to over 21 voodoo gods. However, Mikael hated this life but was roped in through his family. Mikael shared with us that he wanted to be free from this life but that he was too afraid to leave it behind. Long story short, after months of prayer, discipleship and catechesis. Mikael returned to the Church, renounced all his evil practices, repented and is now on fire for the Lord. Mikael now goes from church to church sharing his witness.

Louci: At the age of 14, Louci was already sexually active, hurt, broken and confused about the faith. Upon arrival of the Life Teen missionaries, Louci almost immediately flocked to the female missionaries in our community. It was beautiful to see Louci learn from them what true womanhood is, and what it means to be the beloved daughter of God. Louci constantly comes to our base for bible studies, prayer, Life Nights, and just to hang out. God has transformed her heart in many ways and just recently she was able to do her first communion.

Miracles, both big and small, are happening in Haiti daily. This is why we are inviting you to help us attain are fundraising goal of $40,000 so that we can continue to be Jesus' hands and feet to the youth of Haiti. We have seen God do amazing things by us being obedient to his call for us. Today we extend that same invitation to you. Imagine what your “yes” could do, not only in your own life but in the lives of the youth in Haiti. Will you say yes to joining God on His mission?
